Welcome one and all. I’m part of the Zero Carbon Castle group that’s housed in the Castle Ward area of Bedford. We’ve put on a Green Fayre, planted a community herb garden, sold and distributed organic fair trade cotton reusable bags in the local area, we’ve been running an energy monitor library, where residents can loan 1 of varying monitors to get feel for their energy consumption and wright a report on the best monitor type. We’re also engaging in the GEO energy monitor trials and will be installing sophisticated monitors into over 100 houses. We’re about to engage in what we hope to be one of the most comprehensive carbon audits completed in the UK. See our website for more details (www.zerocarboncastle.org). I proposed in July of 2007 that we start a CRAG as part of our communal initiatives to reduce emissions.
