If you are reading this, hopefully you may be interested in joining a CRAG in the Exeter area. We live in Topsham and are in the process of adding lots of insulation, a solar water heating system, a wood stove and low energy lights to our house. We cycle, walk and use public transport as much as possible. Also interested in veg gardening and sailing. Look forward to hearing from you and sharing ideas.

November 18, 2007 — Hello, My wife Leslie and I are interested in CRAGs, we understand the basic rules, but we do not know for sure whether we want to join. We live in Gunnislake, near Tavistock. Our telephone number is 01822 835828 (no answering service) and our email address is glassbill(at)fastmail.fm. Good luck, thanks for your work. Best wishes, Bill Glassmire

Hi Bill and Leslie,

If we haven’t replied yet to your comments (ages ago), sorry. I’m still trying to get to grips with how to use the website.

Gunnislake is a long way from Exeter (Ye gods – it’s almost in Cornwall !)

I would suggest that you may want to start a CRAG in Gunnislake. The community is definitely big enough. 550 people but a great community I bet. You only need about 10 people to form a CRAG.

If you want any help, ideas, please contact us.

Hi

I’m interested in becoming involved with a local CRAG; I live in Heavitree, Exeter. We moved to our house last year, and have installed double glazing, cavity wall and loft insulation. My wife and I have given up all air travel. I’m having difficulty cutting my car use, however – work requirements are a problem!

Look forward to hearing more about the CRAG.
