Geodesic domes. Seems that you can’t go to any green event without one popping up. There has to be someone breeding them somewhere, like mushrooms.
This wasn’t all of us, by the way – just about half the Craggers. We had a good spread of attendance from Crags across the country – ‘representatives’ from Glasgow, Sheffield, York, Leeds, Islington, Bristol, Sevenoaks… have I left anyone out?. Besides treeplanting, we enjoyed some excellent discussions (not to mention great beer and vegan food, courtesy of the organisers). Great to meet you all, guys!
The treeplanting weekend was organised by a small but vibrant charity called Treesponsibility (see here for details: www.treesponsibility.com) — all accommodation, food and planting activities a snip at just £25 — thoroughly recommended for any group of friends looking to escape urban life for a weekend and get some ‘outdoor therapy’ (as opposed to the rather more usual retail kind of therapy!).
