The Climate March 2007 is almost upon us! Last year’s saw a brilliant CRAG contingent with a huge banner, balloons representing footprints from around the globe, and around 15-20 CRAGgers sporting our new t-shirts (see the photos). The network has grown considerably over the year and it would be brill to meet or surpass the 2006 showing.
The details will be at: http://portal.campaigncc.org/node/1747 for London, or http://www.globalclimatecampaign.org Worldwide.
So this is a thread for ideas, plans, organisation for that event, in the UK or globally. Let the ideas roll!

Arrangements for demo Sat 8 Dec - please reply
Jessica
The timetable is below.
How many CRAGgers are coming? Please reply to this thread if you are!
Now that our numbers have so grown, it would be great to field a large contingent and walk in a group so please come and join us! Hopefully, wearing your limited edition CRAGs Tshirt and possibly a silly hat and any CRAGs-related gimmicks you can think of. Naturally, woolly jumpers (worn under tshirt) will be much in evidence anyway. Extra points for thermal underwear. And bring digital cameras!
We hope to get quality photos and video footage of the event for the website. And of course, there will be a massive party afterwards in Camberwell.
CRAGgers coming from outside London needing somewhere to stay should get in touch – we should be able to help.
We will have two large CRAGs banners, but please feel free to make your own CRAGs banners and posters. There are ready to use templates on the website under resources.
The march starts from Millbank at 12pm. I suggest we meet at 11.30am the Burghers of Calais monument, in the gardens to the right of Parliament as you face the river. It is likely to be very busy, but it seems as good a place as any, provided the police don’t close the gardens. If they do, we’ll hover as near there as possible, so look for CRAGs paraphernalia.
Some of you may be tempted by the cycle demo. I think it will be difficult to do this and meet up with CRAGs group, so, depending on how many of us there are, it might be better if we eschew our bikes for the day and just walk together, so that we make maximum impact. Also easier for carrying flags etc. But if you know better, feel free to share your info.
Final question – time is short, but we want to organise some kind of flyers/ stickers/ badges with CRAGs logo and website. Anyone have ready access to printing facilities at reasonable prices and transport for getting stuff? Let us know asap.
