Me and Andy had a discussion about the possibility of combining the CRAGs carbon data to present an overall footprint on the front page. This could be compared to the sustainable level, current global average level etc. and marked off year-by-year to communicate the overall CRAG community’s progress.
However, this would require groups to synchronise their Carbon Years (I know Oxford and Wokingham are on calendar years already), and provide the 4 basic footprints (gas, elec, car, air) to reasonably consistent conversion factors.
Thoughts?

Go for it! And does it have to be precise to start with ? Not sure we have to break out footprint to start with. Overall footprint per group would be a good start.
You could do this now for each group from the available data. ie ration * members, then add all the groups together and plonk the tally onto the front page in a thermometer style dialogue compared to the other mentioned factors
