I have a small area of woodland (about 1 acre) which had been coppiced some year ago (about 40) it contains oak, ash hazel, wild cherry, willow, and some other species I haven’t yet identified. Over the the years birch has crept in and there are now a number of tall birch trees. Do you think it is possible to einh this woodland back into coppicing, and will it provide sustainable fuel for 2 households?
