Hi everyone! I’ve noticed there’s been a proliferation of threads with few comments, and elsewhere discussion has drifted onto other topics, or threads haven’t been properly tagged. It’s really a sign of success, and it’s great the discussion’s blooming, but in order to keep things accessible and coherent I think we need a bit of tidying.
So this is just a reminder to search out previous threads on related subjects and add to them if at all possible. I wonder whether we should have a welcome message which outlined the base rules and guidelines? If so, is there anything else that should go into it?
Would anyone like to volunteer to be a forum moderator? It would just mean keeping an eye out that nobody’s flouting the posting rules, that threads are keeping on track and are correctly tagged, and correcting where necessary. It should be light work so long as there’s a reasonably-sized group.

Hi David,
would it be ok to have a navlink to local crags along the side, and then individual groups? I’d like to stimulate discussion with locals as well as general, ie. giving out info, etc. would that be ok?
