Just wondering if someone has a stash of CRAG t-shirts somewhere, so that i could buy one for money, or if not, if there’s a handy file somewhere with the designs on (not that they’re that complicated, but still..) so that I could make some myself..

If anyone has a stash...

Hi, we’d be delighted to have a few: at the moment the Peckham crag numbers three, but we are working hard on upping the numbers: a few groovy t-shirts might help…be happy to pay. Let us know, thanks.

Yes, you need to email Vey.

Yes, you need to email Vey. I think they were around £10, but she’ll have the exact figure. There are also images under the t-shirt tag, but I’m not sure how useful these are in getting t-shirts made up, as I’ve never done it myself.

Finally… I’ve sorted this out. Sorry for the delay! 100% SKAL* certified organic cotton t shirts from my local tshirt printer, who didn’t have organic cotton tshirts last year but do now! Non organic cotton is a no-no because it takes HUGE quantities of fossil fuel derived chemicals to produce it.

They are Navy. In Mens or Womens Styles. see pics at http://www.carbonrationing.org.uk/file?tag=t-shirt

£15 each if I can give it to you at Climate March
£17 each if you want me to post it to you in UK. (other countries can be arranged!)

Cheques will have to be with me by 19th November for Tshirts for Climate March on 8th December. E-mail me to order, I’m on the Hereford page.

*Because they are manufactured from 100% SKAL Certified organic cotton, these t-shirts are not made using a blend of low and high grade cottons. This produces a finish which is very soft, wearable, hard wearing and washable. The SKAL certification ensures that the cotton is GM free and grown to an organic standard without the use of harsh chemicals in either growth or processing. The dyes used to colour the t-shirts are Oeko-Tex approved. The t-shirts are ethically produced and fairly traded according to guidelines set out in the Ethical Trading Initiative Labour Standards Code.

ok ok ok you got there before me! (organic cotton)

If you want a fab CRAG Tshirt in time for the march, I need your cheque (or order at least) by Wednesday (thats 21st November). I’m not trying to make any money on these – purely a friendly service to my fellow CRAGers as per last year. Don’t you need some in Glasgow too???

£15 each if I can give it to you at Climate March
£17 each if you want me to post it to you in UK. (other countries can be arranged!)

Send cheques to Vey Straker, Broadhill, Little Dewchurch, Hereford, HR2 6PR or e-mail me at vey.straker (at) virgin.net

Hi Vey The T shirt

bruce hocking

Hi Vey

The T shirt arrived this morning and I’ve been wearing it in Truro this afternoon. It has started several conversations and been used to help conversations it hasn’t started!

One aspect of carbon rationing that the T shirt is bringing out, is the fact that many people express a wish to cut their carbon footprint, but say they can’t (i.e. one lady telling me that she commutes 45 miles per day to work in Truro to do a job that pays the bills). The feeling I am getting is that people are waiting for the government to force change.

I just wish we could get it across to the government that most people actually want carbon rationing.

Best Wishes

Bruce

More ladies t-shirts! Public CRAGging in the smoke! Size matters

Zaria

Dear all,

Do any CRAGger women need more t-shirts? We need to order a certain number to make it worth the printers’ while to print them up.

Peckham all-female CRAG are in huge need of nicer ladies CRAG t-shirts after a group mutiny against wearing men’s t-shirts the size of teepees which don’t make us feel very sexy. Fair point indeed, no-one says you have to be unsexy to campaign publicly against climate change and for carbon reduction/rationing, do they?

Thanks,

Zaria Greenhill

I’ve added a wikipage at t-shirt, and linked it from the front page. Hopefully it covers everything, but please add or edit if not.
