Just to let you know, we had our end of year meeting at the end of April. As a group we averaged out at 3.28 tonnes per capita, coming well within our 4.5 tonnes target. Well done folks! Our target for next year is 4 tonnes per capita. But we have opted out of the pence per kilo penalty and are looking at an alternative system by which we can value/trade credits. (Toilet cleaning vouchers were a popular idea amongst creditors!) I think the problem came up when we discussed whether a member could save up their credits for expending in several years hence (ie a long awaited trip to Oz to see family). We didn’t see how this could work. But we have also been working on £100 cap… so if theres a cap – maybe she’d never get sufficient monetary compensation to pay for her over emissions in her flight year. Anyway – we’ll keep a note of debtors and creditors so we can see how it works out. Minutes of meeting on group site.
