Oxford Uni CRAGs research

Rachel

Hi,
I’m a researcher at the Oxford University Environmental Change Institute. We want to learn more about the motivations and experiences of people who are involved in CRAGs, so I’m looking for current and past members of CRAGs who are willing to be interviewed by me. The interviews will last less than an hour. The information collected will be used to write a report for the Environmental Change Institute, which may be published and will feed into a big project on demand reduction and lower carbon futures. Any information you provide will be anonymous in the report, and confidentiality will be maintained throughout the research. I can offer you £20 for your time if you wish to participate.

I know other researchers have recently been doing interviews, but I hope people will still be willing – the Environmental Change Institute is a prestigious research department which has the ear of policymakers. I would be particularly interested to speak to people who are not ‘the usual green suspects’ or who started with a big footprint, and to people who have dropped out of a CRAG, so please do pass this on if you know any ‘dropouts’. Thanks!

If you are interested in being interviewed, or would like more information, please contact me, Rachel Howell. Email: rachel.howell[at]ouce.ox.ac.uk Tel: 01865 285173 (Thursday/Friday)
