I’d like to get a half-decent front page going for the next website release – if I have the time. It needs to lead into the main areas of the site, communicate our core idea, and be – at best – inspirational. I have a few ideas floating around, but I’d like to hear other people’s.
At the moment, something along the lines of:
- a short summary of the crags idea (i posted a separate thread on this)
- three blocks leading into the three main areas of the site: groups, forum and wiki – these would show the latest content and could do with some iconic graphics (any graphic designers out there?) to represent each of those.
- a graphical representation of the level of average footprints (UK, US, global?) and the current sustainable (derived from the carbon sink and global population) – and, in future, the crags footprint.
Any other ideas flowing?
