The end of our first carbon year is fast approaching. It looks like 12th January is a relatively convenient day to meet up to review it. The purpose of this meeting will be:
- to find out how we as individuals and more importantly as a group have fared in our first carbon year
- to settle up any carbon debts any of us may have accrued during the year
- to confirm what our 2008 ration will be
- to confirm what we are trying to count in 2008
- to confirm whether we will be applying any financial “sticks and carrots”
- to discuss anything else we think we need to discuss
To take part you will need to bring along an estimate of your 2007 footprint broken down into electricity, heating, car, buses/trains (to/from places outside Scotland) and flights. Ideally, each of these should be backed up by bills, MOT certs and tickets.
This should be an entertaining evening! I will be laying on some freegan food. You may want to bring some food/drink of your own.

Please note change of date of year end/beginning meeting from 10th to 12th January. Those of us who met up on 8th Dec felt that having it on a Saturday would give us more time.
