Does anyone have, or can anyone help me with, a staff travel claim form that also incorporates carbon calculation? The NHS organisation that I work for has signed up to the 10:10 campaign, which means that we have to calculate the carbon emissions associated with travel for all our staff for 2009/10 and reduce it by 10% as well as count it for 2010/11. Some staff do lots of traveling as they visit patients at home (eg district nurses). The sooner we can launch a new method of recording staff travel by means of changing the expenses claim form, the less retrospective calculation we will have to do. My finance colleagues are keen and interested, but so far I haven’t found any organisation that is doing this already – surely someone must be?
