Here are my figures for Feb – March 2009:
Total kg CO2: 190
Domestic energy: 145 (all electricity)
Travel: 45 (public transport: 31.5; car: 13.5)
Thankfully the onset of less freezingly cold weather means that I can cut right down on electricity usage, which accounts for the drop here compared to recent months. In travel, rather than driving back home to Bedford as I normally do I took the train (over 3 times more expensive and took twice as long!), which means my travel footprint is also quite pleasingly small (compared to normal at least). The warmer weather means fewer excuses not to cycle, so hopefully I can continue to chip away at it…
(Running total: been in the CRAG 9 months now. Total CO2 so far is just under 1.8 tonnes)
