Hi everyone. We had our second quarter meeting last week. There seems to be about eleven of us who are managing to keep our statistics (Alex is keeping the summary). The average for this eleven is well on track to be under the allowance of 4,500 kgs per person for the year. What is more, we are finding that it’s actually a positive experience – no huge sacrifices involved. There are also quite a number of others who have been along to a meeting, or are on this webgroup, so have probably benefited in some way from the contact with the group but who havent given Alex their figures – maybe doing the stats is too much of a chore (a bit like an extra tax return) or possibly the stats are worked out but the figures are worryingly high!

So, please if you possibly can send your figures to Alex Cochrane alexcochrane@doctors.org.uk All you need to send is total kgs of CO2 for the two quarters. If you want to send the breakdown (electricity, gas, car, public transport, plane) then Alex will log this too.

If you need someone to spend half an hour just explaining how to do them then ask Alex.

We have set a date for our third quarter meeting Jan 15 7.30 Hamish’s house 9 exeter buildings

all best wishes
Angela
