Based on the successful model of the UK CRAG’s, this group is part of the Canadian CRAG launch. We support each other in reducing our individual and household carbon footprints as well as use our collective energies to promote awareness, practical action, and policy change in the wider community. Our target for each member is to be at least 10% less than the Ontario average footprint. Our group meets every month or two; meetings occur near the Dufferin and Ossington subway stations and are usually on a Monday or Wednesday evening. Though we already started our first “carbon year” on September 1, 2008, we are still open to accepting new participants. We have a separate online bulletin board which we use for internal communication.
