I am a live event Producer/Technical Director. My first job out of college was with Clean Water Action Project...well, that and making catheters. What else would I do with degrees in theatre and English? My work at CWAP was equally difficult and inspiring. Love my bicycle and meditation. I constantly waver between righteous anger and great hope for humanity and the world.

“”I'm a newbie but want to learn more and get something started in metro/suburban NJ where I live. Still a little dubious about the idea of a Carbon Credit market but see the practicalities inherent in getting businesses on board. I work in the live entertainment industry, ironically an industry full of people who care about environmental issues but due to it's nature (a concert lasts a couple of hours, a play runs a few weeks if it's lucky...) has a very short term outlook. I'm hoping to find a way to bring carbon and wider environmental issues to my business.

I use a friend's car on occasion, more than I should but generally use mass transit and in warmer weather my bicycle. Haven't owned my own vehicle since 2000. Use the radio and internet for news, no TV, but am addicted to books and the printed word. Not sure how to deal with this. I recycle and compost. Need to get new windows on my house this summer.
