CRAGsGeorgia, Maryland (admin) (other roles website team) “”I feel an intense need to do something about global warming, and CRAGs connect me to other people who are trying to do the same thing. In a CRAG you can get motivation from other people to help support and pressure you to meet your goals. The CRAG framework is also great because it ties into tracking efforts at national and international scales. |
carbonprofileI live in a small (1152 sq ft) detached house. It's old (historic district) and has terrible insulation and crack sealing. My heat is oil and I use electricity for everything else. I live half a mile from work and walk a lot, so my driving is not too great. I don't use public transporation for things like grocery shopping but it is available. I have a lot of friends that live within a few blocks so we usually walk when going out. My house uses about 500 gallons of oil per year and I am hoping to change this with insulation. I am in the process of moving to a new house while remodeling the old one to sell, and my carbon footprint this year is going to be awful. expertiseI write a blog on global warming and carbon reduction at http://www.local-warming.blogspot.com. I also have presentations ready-made on CRAG topics. |
