A quick update for Monday evening’s meeting, apologies for another email.
And its pretty good news as we will show something very new and likely to be in everyone’s home soon. The device is known as a “Smart Meter” which allows you a real time view of your electricity usage, cost and emissions. Steve Allen from Current Cost will be showing us how it works.
We’re also expecting Gabriel Berry who will be talking briefly about a new campaign in the Reading area about to get under way.
Finally look out for the news tomorrow (Friday) A very important report will be released. The IPCC’s 4th Assessment report summarising the science on climate change. These guys are the bottom line on this topic, I will be amazed if its not big news over the weekend. Good timing, we can talk more on Monday
